Dear people outside the USA,
This is what America is really like.
You've been lied to how wonderful it is here but it's not. It's horrible. We're a "Wizard of Oz" country where reality is behind the curtain. We criminalize the poorest people, literally. Many don't haveโฆ

Let me get this straight. The restaurant manager called the police and kicked out a homeless man and the person who bought him food?
Their crime was eating?
This is both sad and infuriating.
@LeftwardSwing
Years ago, on a cold Manhatten winter's day, I was a waitress & an obviously homeless man came in for a coffee and a meal. I served him & treated him w/respect My boss(who wasn't American)Threw him out, yelling at him °rading him. It was heartbreaking to watch

@drkwarlord
Who filmed this, an employee or customer? I'm seeing a lot of this type of video lately and can't help but wonder who is recording them.
@LeftwardSwing
The most recent data I could find, in a quick search, show that there were 1800+ violent crimes in Myrtle Beach in 2021. But luckily the police are arresting poor people for eating a meal bought for them.
@LeftwardSwing
That was really cool of him to buy this guy food. There is no before video to show whether the homeless guy was starting static, so we don't know if it was warranted to ask him to bail. Still the guy who bought him food, more this.
@LeftwardSwing
โmultiple people complainedโ
reminds me of when all that was needed to arrest & enslave a black man was a few people complaining about them. no proof of crime needed besides a testimony. same principle, different day of criminalizing those who arenโt rich white men
@Jazz_Phan
Ummm this problem didn't just start when Biden entered office. It's been happening for decades. This happened when Trump was president. The problem is Capitalism.
