If that was true you'd support single payer
#MedicareForAll
which would ensure everyone, including people in red states that haven't expanded Medicaid, has healthcare.

No itβs really not. Healthcare is still unaffordable for millions. Only the rich get great healthcare. Average working people are struggling on low wages and high childcare and housing costs. And the Fed Reserve wants layoffs when we need price controls!

Yes, it absolutely is. Medicare For All is single payer & it's vastly superior. No co-pays, no deductibles, no premiums, rX capped at $200 a year, no in network anything, not job locked for benefits.

No to Medicare. Its a damn mess. Medicaid maybe more ideal. Our whole system of healthcare needs to change. 1st priority is to quickly phase 4 profits out. 2nd reduce overhead by combining Medicare [original, advantage, supplements], Medicaid, various military (VA, tricare, etc).

@POTUS
Single payer is a system where healthcare is NOT a right, but a privilege. You get what the government will give you and for anything else you are SOL.

Who pays for care in Germany, France, Denmark? What happens when you lose your job in America? What happens when you're traveling on vacation, get hurt, & are taken to an out of network hospital?

When I had Medicaid, it didn't matter where I went. Everything was covered. When I won disability, I got shoved into Medicare. Absolutely horrible. Now if I need to see a specialist, I have to cross reference the list of providers to see if they're in network. Frustrating.
