Tear gas and pepper spray are chemical weapons. It goes against the basic principles of humanity and common sense to prohibit weapons in international conflict, but allow them to be used against civilian protesters.

Dr Holly Doel-Mackaway @4childrights says poor conditions in the juvenile justice system are provoking the uprisings across NSW, Vic and NT. "It would be really interesting to talk with the children and ask: what are their demands, what has sparked this?"

Yesterday students from @LawMq attended a workshop held by Adrian Coorey and his colleagues from the ACCC. The ACCC's Intern and Grad programmes are definitely worth exploring. Thanks again to Adrian for organising this event. #macquarieuniversity #competitionlaw #consumerlaw

Congratulations to MLS alum Noelle Martin for winning Young Western Australian of the Year 2019! “This is dedicated to the 1 in 5 Australians who have experienced image-based abuse... Now that it is criminalised nationally, I won’t stop until there is global change!”

Imagine being forced to leave behind your child with cerebral palsy to study in another country. Macquarie University mature student Badmaa, from Mongolia, wasn’t able to secure her son Jaki a visitor visa until the Social Justice Clinic reunited them. https://t.co/LjJOTr7pMs
