Wednesday marked the completion of the Emerging Leaders Program, where 1st year students grew as leaders and contributed to campus life through workshops and projects with student organizations. Congratulations to our Emerging Leaders; your dedication enriches the SNC community!

This week’s Pilgrim Forum invited us to reflect on the Nativity with Dr. Michael Barber of the Augustine Institute. His insights on Christ’s hope, humility, and love continue to inspire us at SNC. Grateful for moments that deepen our faith and guide how we learn, lead, and serve.

What an incredible Homecoming week at SNC, a true celebration of Green Knight pride, connection, and tradition! From campus events and alumni gatherings to a football victory, the spirit of communio was alive in every moment. Thanks to all who made this celebration unforgettable.

The 2025 SNC Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honored an outstanding group of athletes, coaches, and supporters, the largest class since 1986. Each inductee has left a lasting mark on SNC and carries forward the proud tradition of Green Knight athletics. Congratulations!

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Augustine, whose wisdom and witness continue to inspire our Norbertine tradition and guide us in life at St. Norbert College. I invite you to reflect with us on his enduring relevance.

Last night, we celebrated one of my favorite SNC traditions: opening the academic year with the Mass of the Holy Spirit, then a cookout with music, games, and community. Fireworks closed the evening, a joyful reminder of the spirit of communio that unites us!

Move-in Day and Convocation made last week unforgettable as we welcomed the Class of 2029 to campus! Our newest Green Knights embraced our mission to grow intellectually, spiritually, and personally while living out the Norbertine value of communio. Welcome to SNC, Class of 2029.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak at the new student employee orientation. These students play an important role in supporting campus life at St. Norbert College while gaining valuable skills for their future. I look forward to seeing all they will accomplish this year.

The Workforce Development event brought important conversations about how we can support the evolving needs of our workforce. Through custom solutions and partnerships, SNC stays committed to helping organizations achieve their goals while preparing students to lead and thrive.

On Monday, I joined the Norbertine community to celebrate the anniversary of the St. Norbert Abbey dedication, especially meaningful as we mark 100 years since its elevation in 1925. A beautiful Mass honored the roots and mission that guide our shared journey in faith and service

I joined colleagues at the New North Summit to launch the Growing Roots, Finding Wings campaign—a reminder of the lasting value of higher education in preparing students for meaningful lives, careers, and service. Together, we’re building a strong foundation for the future.
