I think about this SO MUCH! The look on his face as he realizes he hasn’t heard her voice in a while always gets me—the panic this man was feeling on the inside!
Aaron is talking to him, and his ass is only thinking about Lucy, wondering when he last heard from her 😭😭😭 He still has PTSD from when she was kidnapped

You ever think how, as a kid, he must've flinched hard when he saw a hand coming his way? And how long it must've taken him to not think of every touch as something that'll inflict pain on him? How much does Lucy make him feel safe if her touch isn't only welcome, but CALMS him?
