We pray because they are battling a disease. We pray because they are someone's son or daughter. We pray because we don't want them to lose hope.There is no limit to prayer. I'll pray for YOU and that you have more compassion and understanding....

We pray because it’s the right thing to do, it’s what Jesus commanded(not asked) is to do and we also need the prayers of others. Maybe for different things but we all need prayer

We pray for the sin to be overcome by one of god's children. We all have our sins. Compassion is sometimes hard but God's grace have be given to myself. People have beaten addiction and we can pray for a child of God to overcome the addiction.

A very good friend of mine and my cousin are currently battling addiction and their in rehab and 3 years ago I lost another cousin to opioids. I pray that my friend and cousin fully recover and overcome their demons and that no one should ever lose a loved one to this disease.
