Gary Rogers & Matt Brumbaugh on the deck at Brummy’s. Both members of the “Hersh Coaching Tree.” Both sectional champs today! Gary’s Leo team beat Luers 6-2, and Brummy’s Northrop team beat Dekalb 2-1. Congrats to both and good-luck in regionals!

I went to Kendallville today to present a game used ball from yesterday’s sub-regional championship game which Ivy Tech won (1st championship in short history of program) to the family of Andrew Carpenter. Carp was with us, & as always his jersey, glove & pic were in dugout!

Today is my daughter, Maddie’s, 22nd birthday. We weren’t able to celebrate her 21st due to Covid shutdown. Going to celebrate both this year. Of course, I will be out of town for baseball. Maddie & Grant have sacrificed so much family wise due to my career. Love you, Maddie! Dad
