This recent attitude of getting physically aggressive against police officers who are showing extreme restraint, given what we know about them, will lead down a terrible rabbit hole. You can’t become what you’re trying to stand up against. This is dangerous

A woman has been caught on camera assaulting a policeman in the FESTAC area of Lagos.
The woman shouted in the face of the policeman and held his uniform, angry that he had threatened to shoot her.

Though not captured on camera, the lady claimed the policeman said he will gun her. That is provoking I believe.

I agree it’s provocation. But physical assault is not the way to deal with provocation. Especially when the only part the world can see is the assault on a law enforcement agent

Do they do it because they know that some of us, including popular activists, will rush to defend them, try to justify their conduct, start a hashtag campaign and join in criticizing the Police, as happen regularly on social media?
Or is it anger issues?
