Did they describe in detail what the possible negative outcomes would be? I find them glossing over these points really abhorrent. A kid does not have the research to source accurate information on their own about surgical procedures. I'm so angry at the medical professionals

Is this side effect of having these surgeries something that is discussed with these young patients? Are they old enough or informed enough to realize the lifelong consequences? This is very sad for our young people.

Some transition I was pushed into this operation because it will “heal” me. Doctors were telling me that it’s the best decision I can make.
