According to this respondent, one major motivation for her to go for vaccination was that the health center was very close to where she stayed. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

He however said he wasn't sure of going back for further vaccination due to the myths and concerns people have had about the vaccines in the recent past. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

This respondent told us that he got vaccinated mostly because of compliance rather than a free will because there was a lot of controversy on the vaccines, especially from the pharmaceutical companies themselves. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

Another respondent said the desire to keep his loved ones safe from COVID-19 is what motivates this respondent to keep both himself and his family vaccinated against the deadly disease. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

This is her biggest motivation to get vaccinated. Grace also added traveling out of the country comes with a mandatory requirement to get vaccinated which was another motivation. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

When it came to vaccination, we asked what would motivate her to go for the COVID-19 vaccination, Grace Joyce Kemigisa, a sports journalist, said that the nature of the work that she does, which often requires her to interact with a lot of people. @UNITAID @FINDdx #HEPSCOVID19

#HEPSCOVID19 The symptoms of COVID 19 include flu, headaches, fever, general body weakness, sore throat and loss of taste and smell. You are encouraged to test for COVID-19 in case you present with some of those symptoms @hepsuganda @MinofHealthUG

According to a report by @UNITAID , 52 percent of people had only received their first COVID shot but had not completed full vaccination #HEPSCOVID19 @hepsuganda

The most common reason given for this was fear of becoming I'll with COVID 19. #HEPSCOVID19

@WHOUganda continues to emphasize that the vaccines are safe and effective for use and people only get minor side effects if any.
