🚨Exciting News (thread)🚨We’re making it official; The team from Ragebot is joining Kik! 🥳

We were already big fans of everything the Ragebot team had built with limited resources and are over the moon to have them officially on the team where they’ll continue to build out Ragebot as well as work on some really cool upcoming features. 😎 ✌🏻

So many of the ideas were about features to make public group management more robust. When we sat down with the team from Ragebot we quickly realized how much overlap there was with what they were wanting to build into Ragebot & what you were asking for.

We asked for your feedback on how to make Kik better & we were blown away by (almost 😜) all of your ideas, many of which seem obvious but hadn’t even occurred to us🤦🏻‍♂️!

Nine years ago Kik went live. Since then hundreds of millions of people have had billions of meaningful conversations. I am excited that our amazing users will continue to have a great home, and that Kik will continue to grow and evolve as a pillar of the Kin Ecosystem. Onward!

Some exciting news: we may have found a home for Kik! We just signed an LOI with a great company. They want to buy the app, continue growing it for our millions of users, and take the Kin integration to the next level. Not a done deal yet, but could be a great win win. More soon
