This recording of #Bach #KunstDerFuge by @cuartetocasals has to be the best performance of a work that can come across as so very dry. In the hands of @cuartetocasals it sings, dances to reveal Bach's genius counterpoint.

Every symphony is a remarkable masterpiece and the progression from CPE Bach through Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert is vivid and astonishing. There could have been no Mahler without Haydn.
