Very excited to share my first preprint! It began as a tool development project that overturned our hypotheses/humbled us when we dug into the role of LTP in learning. The💡moment came when the second-to-none @MarkPlitt tied it all together at the systems level.

An important step in the maturation of this exciting, burgeoning field. See below for an international consensus on improving the reliability and reproducibility of organoid models, including assembloids and transplantation.
In this week’s @Nature, we publish a group effort to outline a framework for studies with neural #organoids, #assembloids and transplantation. More details below 1/n

Interested in the intersection of brain organoids and bioelectronics? I highly recommend working with my colleague @XiaoYang63 when she opens her lab at Hopkins next year! Rigorous thinker who's passion for science shines through.
Thrilled to share that I will join @JohnsHopkins @JHUBME as an Assistant Professor in 2025! The Yang Lab will develop novel bioelectronics and biomaterials for brain-machine interfaces, regenerative medicine, and the study of human neural development and diseases.
