If I was going to migrate domains, I'd take the opportunity to clean up old paths while I was there, eg: twitter. com/kpk/status/1234 -> x. com/@ kpk/post/1234 Doing both at once reduces link issues in future.

James is doing some good work on justifying why Direct Indexing works out, even when including bid/ask spreads.
We wrote a white paper on transaction costs for direct indexing, another neat read from a DS perspective. I was surprised to see just how (and how consistently) much bid-ask spreads change intra-day.
