@dreliasmoran Not always. If one is able to easily remove the plaques, it’s likely Candida. ✅ When removing Candida plaques, there is an erythematous base below them ✅ In lymphocytic esophagitis these plaques are quite adherent, and feel almost “attached” to the squamous mucosa
