@KMonkemuller I did not use the stent but used a sponge wrapped around a JP Drain to get rid of a rectal anastomotic leak in 3 weeks. C/o Advanced Parkinson's with DM and recurrent aspirations leading to PEG feeding with diverting ileostomy for a large villous adenoma.

@KMonkemuller Dr. Samuel Mardini at the University of Kentucky did something similar about 3 years ago. After transplant a patient developed a huge fistula into his peroteniem. Dr. Mardini hooked wound vac sponge to a stent, and NG tube. Patient came back weekly for resizing etc. 5 weeks...
