You have to wonder if large elements of the Democrats establishment leadership clique have been acting as “controlled opposition” for years. No other explanation for the embarrassing rationalizing  & cognitive dissonance since the election. And apparent comfort with the results.

USL announced plans for a Division One league - and there are hundreds more questions than answers at this point. So who better than @kkfla737 to help us make sense of the landscape? How will this happen? Which teams? How does MLS react? #COYR 📺 https://t.co/5duuhOhjoN

Competition and innovation is why having more than one D1 in a closed system is a good thing. Americans recent risk-aversion, desire to prescribe outcomes & hostility to the free market isn’t what made us the most successful country on the planet. Quite the opposite in fact.

Hegseth: "We must start by recognizing that returning to Ukraine's pre-2014 borders is an unrealistic objective ... the US does not believe that NATO membership for Ukraine is a realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement."

Great to see my favorite fanzine on store shelves in London! WSC remains a voice of the English supporter not the nation-states or private equity that have been buying up English football.

My trip has shook me up. I’ve previously had (sort of) a superiority complex when I’ve gone to India. This trip I saw India advancing rapidly (understatement). As an American I feel somewhat threatened. They’ve 100% arrived. What was long theoretical is now reality.

After being in-out of multiple clean & ultra-modern airports in India and spending days around efficient @HeathrowAirport T5 in the last few weeks, returning to @iflymia makes me embarrassed to be both a Floridian and an American. MIA is an embarrassment. A blight on the USA.

Correct- The uncertainty and continued threats will further curtail investment in all of North America. Tariffs are the dumbest thing. We can have policy arguments about other policies both social & economic but on the tariff issue in developed economies I see no flip side.

The main accomplishment of Trump’s fake almost trade war is that no business is going to make a huge capital investment assuming tariff-free North American trade even after USMCA renegotiation.

The truth is, we should’ve invaded and temporarily occupied northern Mexico years ago (with Mex permission). Trump 1.0 didn’t do it & Biden didn’t do it. Trump 2.0 doesn’t seem to want to do it either. Until we take control the situation forcibly the cartels aren’t going away.

President Trump is a master negotiator on behalf of the American people. Mexico deploys 10k troops to the border & Canada appoints a “fentanyl czar,” lists cartels as terrorists, ensures 24/7 eyes on the border AND (1/2)

A reminder that EIGHT million Germans were resettled forcibly after World War II and many many Germans died in that resettlement. That’s something American and British historians like to gloss over.

It’s no wonder Americans in business like the Saudis and Emiratis so much because your business ethics align more closely with those Arab oil plutocrats than they do with business people from other western societies.
