Here for #5amwritersclub, here to write a quick blog post--Quilt Camp starts today, and I am here to write about this particular joy of life in November: several days devoted to fabric and sewing and fabric and friends! I am a lucky woman, and I blog in gratitude.

It doesn't happen often, but I got such a beautiful rejection letter, clearly meant to encourage me in the face of rejection, that I promptly sent out a few more poetry submissions to other journals. #5amwritersclub

Here for #5amwritersclub, making a few poetry submissions to literary journals in the waning days of October. I will miss this month of October, so let me make the most of these last days of the month!

A tad late for #5amwritersclub, but it's Saturday, so there's more time for writing throughout the day--it feels like a long time since I've written (or more accurately finished) a poem, so let me put that on the agenda for today.
