Husband is DESPERATE to run. He has created a running track INSIDE our house. He is pounding up and down our stairs doing a five km run!
Is there a doctor in the house? Yes! But sadly it’s him 🥴

Justine I'm taking part in the
#MzansiLockdownMarathanChallange
on Facebook Minimum requirement is 42,2 km in 21 days, but the serious runners can do as many as they like - Daniel may enjoy, but registration closes soon

If SA citizens were allowed to take a jog around the block or walk the dog, that would free up the police from making unnecessary arrests and use police resources more fruitfully. And our health would improve.

I'm not one of them & I don't endorse what some people are doing... But in the extreme early mornings 3am there are those nutters running and cycling.... Ive seen... I overlook a portion of the cycling path to Melkbos....

I did 10km’s round your house when I was there in Feb! Tell him to do ‘hill repeats’ - start at the bottom of your garden (next to the fence near the decking) and go all the way to the gate! Repeat! Lung buster!!
@JustineLimLaw
tell your husband that the idea of lockdown is one word DISTANCING. If he just goes outside, alone or with someone he shares the house anyway, and go for a jog or walk at a brisk pace to the shop (the very far one) with a small backpack he should be OK and the carpet saved.

Runners are a special breed 😂. I’m doing up to 8km ( x 70m loops) around the garden. Some of my fellow club members have run up to 30km, and one a marathon, around their gardens. Next weekend’s plan is to run the ‘Two Oceans Marathon’, any distance up to 56km.
