On the ground in Atlanta for

. At the Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks was killed by police, I’m told a driver tried to drive through the road where people were. As the driver tried to leave, some people attacked and smashed a window.
Someone took a picture using flash and a woman using a megaphone told the crowd to not take pictures or videos of the area or else they’ll take cameras away. Another person said, “And we’ll beat your ass on sight.”
One person told the crowd that the burned-out Wendy’s building was no longer a Wendy’s but a memorial to Rayshard Brooks. He encouraged people to destroy the remaining Wendy’s logos on the building.
Outside Atlanta Police Zone 3 Precinct, some protesters are shouting at police, saying the cops who have called out sick want to “murder” black people without getting in trouble.
Things became tense as an officer moved some of the makeshift barricades to allow the fire department to leave. Some in the crowd got upset and started to move it back into place. One person tried to smash the cop car and another placed himself up on the hill with a rifle.
A man was attacked by some of the crowd because I BELIEVE he was filming in the area after the gunshots. A few people punched him and others were shouting at him to delete the video.
