It has been 3 months, they still have not paid me. I feel so defeated, I just want to be paid for the work I did. If there were any criminal issues, how could they have let me work in psych for 4 months? If anyone has any advice on how I should approach this, pls let me know

I tried to fight them on this, because I do not want to work with them ever, I simply want to be paid for the locum shift I did. Now, they are asking me for an overseas police check, because I haven't lived in the UK for 10 years.

What I didnt realise was that I had to apply to that trust as a bank doctor to be paid. I didn't know until after the shift. I went through the whole application process, ID checks, occu health, they made me do a DBS check.

Every winter we see our services at breaking point due to illnesses caused by viruses such as RSV. An RSV vaccination programme could be transformative. We need your help to persuade the UK Government to make this a reality. Sign our open letter today! https://t.co/jLHs6L2NS5

I'm an A&E consultant and I'm tired after a weekend of nights. But this am, I've handed over what I described as a "good department". This was said genuinely and with no hint of irony. We provided great care and have very short waits to see an A&E doctor, but I'd forgotten how

What if being a doctor was less about arrogance and more about humility? And being a patient was less about deference and more about agency? It's time to reboot and upgrade the role of doctors & patients for the 21st century for better care and addressing health inequalities.
β Should patients have more power over their care? π©Ί Paediatrician and health campaigner @DrGuddiSingh joins @bbcnuala to discuss how patients can make medical care work in their best interests following increased support for Marthaβs Rule. π§ Listen β¬οΈ

Stopped by @LSTMnews to say hi to @Amina_Ismail22 & @MiriamTaegtmeye. Proud to have been part of the initial vaccine equity project & amazing to see how it's extended to various health equity issues relating to chilhood vaccines, breast & cervical screening across Liverpool.

As more children fall prey to the dangerous trend of vaping, we need to take action to protect their health. Countries like Australia, Singapore & Thailand have banned recreational vaping and it's time for the UK to follow suit. #BanDisposableVapes
Youth vaping is fast becoming an epidemic, with disposable e-cigarettes the top choice for children and young people. We're calling for a ban on disposable e-cigarette products to protect children's health and the environment. #BanDisposableVapes β‘οΈ https://t.co/IgTAPbnz81

I shared a platform with @JohnCarnochan. We agreed that the social determinants of health and the social determinants of crime overlapped. He told me about this programme. So impressive. Proportionate universalism.
𧡠A remarkable story from Glasgow: How the 'murder capital of Europe' cut crime by getting mothers talking to gang members and what we can learn. (1/15)

The UK is the worst place to be poor: the richest 10% spend 6% on energy bills as in France but the poorest 10% spend almost 18% on energy compared with 10% of the poorest in France @MichaelMarmot
