There's more hate for Enoch Burke coming from a certain strand of people than the immigrant Fianna Fáil politician that publicly announced people should be shot in the head.
Why is this?
🧵1)
Something does not pass the “scratch and sniff” test with the
@EnochBurke
case.
‼️Firstly, the parents of the child who was allegedly gender confused DID NOT KNOW it was their child! 🚨🔔
Socially transitioning a child behind the parents back is immoral -if not illegal?
@cmisbackagain
You mean they haven't altogether thrown of that old dark and dirty overcoat and try to distract from it by pointing the finger at Burke?
@JohnMurphy51
I'm not getting a sense that people hate Enoch Burke. There may not be universal sympathy for his situation, but I'd think most people just wish that the matter could be resolved and everyone directly involved could move on with their lives.
@pieces0feight
Well yes. But that's a result of certain people being led by the national media's propaganda than any willingness to think for themselves.
@JohnMurphy51
The sanctimonious attitude of the entire Bourke family brings me back to the 1980’s when that way was in the ascendancy. I have no desire to go back. The state we have now, with all its problems is far better than that banana republic.
@JohnMurphy51
I have replied to your post, I have no hate for Enoch of his family, I have a dislike of people posting that his incarceration is some sort of principled stand, it isn’t. Hate is a negative emotion, no place for it in my life.
@Kevmacd
I didn't have you in mind with that comment. You may be misguided in your views on the matter as I see it, but I wouldn't accuse you of hating anyone. I never got that impression.
@JohnMurphy51
Because the politician apologised for his emotional outburst and withdrew it in the next sentence.
Because Burke continues to refuse to obey court orders to stop trespassing at a school.
