@JohnMurphy51 This plan has been formulated for the benefit of a small number of wealthy land owners. I'll bet you any money that some , or all, of the farm organisations are secretly supportive of this plan. The real losers are the small farmers and tax payers!

@JohnMurphy51 They're going to be paid well for anything the government tell them to do. They won't care. They'll be happy as they will get money then in the future be given grants to increase their herds again when reality bites.

@JohnMurphy51 Comere, bullocks making 2300 a piece. Carpark full with suvs worth close to 90 000 grand, the farmers haven't time to go to Dublin. They're fierce busy making the Béal bocht and paying 15000 an acre for more land.
