@sanguinegnosis I used to visit my local village pub about 3-4 times a week. From what I hear now very few have returned.

@olddublinnews I found other & better ways of enjoying life. I can assure you I'm not depriving myself.

@JohnMurphy51 I'd like to say I did the same, but I can't. Family & friends visiting from England & Sweden, whom I'd not seen since moving here late 2019, are a major factor. I won't lie and say it's the only reason, but I'm not deliberately isolating myself for ever - 2 yrs is enough.

@JohnMurphy51 Our country family pub never did, nor wore masks. It was tough with regular garda visits, but we acted as if didn't affect our place. Deep in Irish DNA coded/ sub conscious programs from our generational history 'Don't stand out' and 'Ur not good enough'. It sure does not help.

@JohnMurphy51 Cinema & co in Swansea had a big fine thousands and shut down . but they back open dome pubs defied the illegal rules but got punished go to them

@JohnMurphy51 Some of the non vaxed have developed inferiority complexes. They think everyone is against them, when in reality the vaxed just feel sorry for them and hope they recover soon.
