UK is now officially the 5th richest nation on the planet but we need overseas aid and foodbanks to feed our poor.
We don't live on an island without wealth, but we do live on an island where the wealth is hoarded by the richest 5%.

5th richest is a misnomer.
rephrasing it; UK minority's wealth place it as the 5th richest in the world economic rankings.
That is the trouble with averages, when billionaires' wealth are added to the UC and then divided per capita everyone appears to be earning a great deal.

And that my friend, is in my humble my opinion, a crime. There shouldnโt be a single person in this country whoโs not disgusted by the fact that the UK has the highest per capita poverty rate in the whole of Europe. Itโs time to dump the Tories and tidy up.
