In light of the warning published by Islamic Jihad after the arrest of its West Bank leader in Jenin Monday night, the IDF has blocked roads adjacent to Gaza to protect civilians from a possible reprisal attack.
I'll be surprised if PIJ launches an attack. Initial reports claimed Bassam al-Saadi was injured in the arrest, some claimed he'd been shot by the IDF. This appears to be untrue. Though, PIJ was quick to announce its readiness to respond to the IDF after the news came out.
It's highly unlikely PIJ will launch a response for the arrest. If Saadi was badly injured or even killed that would have spurred a serious response from PIJ in Gaza, but I don't believe that is the case here.
