I used the Neuralink to write code for an Arduino to allow me to control an RC airplane with a quad stick. The possibilities are truly endless. Thank you Elon and the entire team at Neuralink. I am honored to be part of such a great program. @neuralink

You think you might be happy, but are you “My kids said the pizza I made was the best thing they ever had”-happy? Because I am.

So to be clear, this is a preorder for a humanoid home robot that will cost $20,000 or $500/month when it (maybe) ships next year, and currently is not finished. Joanna Stern got to do a demo in its current state, and 100% of its actions are tele-operated

I have a single friend in his late 30s right now. Mega-millionaire. Doing whatever he wants. He's happy! He always asks me "where are you going next" and I always respond "nowhere, I just want to be home with my kid." And he looks at me like I'm CRAZY. He tries to empathize, but

Actually fun to be in this reality because this will play out in one of two ways: 1. Cheater gets job and perform terribly and gets fired fast. Hiring practice has to change 2. Cheater gets job and turns out interviews aren’t good predictors of job performance. Nothing changes
update: @InterviewCoder JUST raised its price 15x, from $60 -> $899 new team has spent the last few months building out crazy undetectability features will be an interesting experiment to see what ppl are willing to pay for best-in-market 2 sales for now.

At the 2025 Teacher Freedom Summit, @YeonmiParkNK delivered a powerful warning: America’s education system is losing its edge. After escaping North Korea and seeing firsthand what true oppression looks like, she reminded us that freedom and excellence go hand in hand.

Google doing things that are very hard to do well competitively (I think Apple Maps is still massively behind on places)
Introducing grounding with Google Maps in the Gemini API, bringing data about 250 million places and Gemini together to create all new experiences 🗺️! So powerful to connect things like maps + search together in a single experience : )

@mikehostetler @Jobvo @karlclement @remote I think we're one of the biggest codebases. I chose Elixir 6 years ago because I wanted to build a great product and not waste time with performance, concurrency and reliability issues. Elixir inherits all the great advantages of Erlang but with a much better syntax- on top

trying out @NotionMail ; it's quite good, but still too slow. Looking forward to see it improve. Will try to default to it for a while

on balance, trying to be generally good and ethical is starting to pay off after ~7+ years of building a company not as much as I thought it would, but net positive

our not so secret sauce is elixir
Elixir v1.19.0-rc.2 is out! It is our last stop before v1.19, so please give it a try: https://t.co/8wCSoFn1ub The results are great: the @remote folks confirmed their codebase compiles 55% on v1.19 and type checking is still ~1ms/module on average, even with all new features!
