A thing that strikes me as defining of the new wave of Fascism we're suffering under is the shear stupidity of those involved. Both Trump and Bolsonaro 👀 had WRITTEN MEMOS of their plans to overthrow Democracy.
We were lucky, this time. We can't afford to rely on luck again.

We only know so much about the Holocaust because it was very carefully documented by the perpetrators. This is not a new thing. If you expect to win, there is no perceived problem with writing it all down.
