The grandpa who lives downstairs brought me Christmas greeting today-who used to work in a hospital laboratory, went to Africa for aid work after retirement, and now teaches English to second-language learners in a question-based way. I’m lucky to always have warm people around🥰

A secret to keeping young - working with young children, as they can often bring you little surprises that they find in life. Our children stumbled across a small snail today while we were outdoors learning about the function of plants🐌.

An insightful paper shows that prioritising urban areas for ecological restoration could enhance climate benefits.
Our new study reveals urban cooling effects from China's ecological restoration projects, decreasing temperatures by 0.2K & reducing warming trends by 14%. Next, we're linking these impacts with human factors to enhance climate strategies. Stay tuned! https://t.co/m36SgUZ0ap

How much academic knowledge and skills I have and how well I can teach students are two different things to me. I hope that I can become not only a good “researcher” but also a good “teacher” through the years.🤗🤗

When I was a kindergarten teacher, children's hugs were the best reward for my educational work.👧🏻When I was a tutor for the first time at the university, I felt its meaning when I could really help my students and get positive feedback from them.👩🏼🎓

I worked on my pilot study today with student teachers from @SotonEd, to explore how to teach climate change in the Chinese context. Students had diverse ideas during the activities. Looking forward to seeing how it goes with kindergarten teachers in Shanghai, China next year!

When floating ice melts and becomes liquid, it takes up more volume than the seawater it displaced when it was ice and increases sea level, as fresh water is less dense than salt water.🧊
