Fr. Edward A. Reese, SJ, passed away August 2, 2025, in Los Gatos, CA, at age 82. He served in Jesuit secondary education for 54 years, including as president at @stignatius & Brophy College Prep; principal at @BellarmineBells; and at @JesuitHighSac & @LoyolaHigh, his alma mater.

Congrats to Fr. Joseph Fortier, SJ, who pronounced final vows in the Society on June 1 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Keller, WA. He is a professor of biology at Wenatchee Valley College and a pastoral assistant for the Rocky Mountain Mission on the Colville Reservation.

Br. Arthur W. Lee, SJ, passed away July 16, in Los Gatos, CA, at age 99. He served at @stignatius in San Francisco for many years, including as director of the printing office, manager of the bookstore & AV equipment, assistant tennis coach, school bus driver, & mailroom manager.
