Teachers.
On their hands and knees.
Gathering 1 dollar bills for the amusement of a crowd.
How degrading.
How disrespectful to the people you put in charge of educating your children.

It is pretty degrading but every teacher I know would jump at the chance to get more money for their school. Maybe more creators should consider raising money for education to offset this sort of behavior.
@JesseCox
How is this different than, say, any of those old gameshows where you stand in a tube and money flys around you and you're supposed to get as much as you can? What does it matter if they're teachers vs any other profession?
@JesseCox
this, as well as so many teachers have to be on twitter, begging the public to send money, so that they can buy the supplies needed to teach children.
that education isn't a priority to elected officials is a disgrace.
military spending is all that matters it seems.
@JesseCox
what's the context for this event? are they doing this for the benefit of their Schools/Students? or have we gotten to the point where this is the only way they get funding?
@JesseCox
Holy shit, who thought this was a good idea? And that it actually remained a good idea through literally every stage of the organization process?
@JesseCox
This is heartbreaking. I would never want even the teachers I hated to degrade themselves for their work.
I praise these teachers for doing what they have to do for their kids, but it shouldn't have to be like this.
@JesseCox
You notice that they are not fighting over getting the cash…. They want to get the money… but fighting over it only causes the students to lose.

People will pay hundreds of dollars game after game for sporting events but education is reduced to this. It’s not hard to understand why we live in such a dystonic world.
