I have a neighbor who has a smoke detector battery that’s dead and it beeps a warning beep about every minute… for days. I can hear it when I walk my dogs and I wonder what it’s like to live with a beep that happens so frequently.

we moved HYPER from beehiiv to substack today. as much as Gen-X folks don't like these platforms, the opportunity to grow your email audience on substack with its social component is a generational attention economy opportunity.
