My first time at an ultra marathon did not disappoint! An event that on paper has the potential to be incredibly dull (I’m only used to concentrating for 2 mins 😜) but it was genuinely so exciting and I had so much fun!!! A brilliant performance 1/2….

I’m sure an all weather jogging trail will be lovely but it will be exactly that - a jogging trail unsuitable and unsafe for athletics training. Anything faster than 3min/k on the same path as people jogging with dogs or buggies is surely a recipe for disaster?.

Absolutely bonkers that @univofstandrews & @SaintsSport are trying to spin this into a positive news story. The removal of the track is a huge loss for the community!.
