John Aubrey answered the call of his country and his community throughout his distinguished career. Sheriff Aubrey was a committed public servant and personal friend. His tenure as Jefferson County sheriff was highlighted by increased professionalism in the sheriff’s office. 1/3

I will miss her dedication, commitment to our community, and her good-natured feistiness. We were fortunate to serve together at a time when strong working relationships and cooperation between elected officials of different parties was unremarkable and not the rarity it is today

Bobbie Holsclaw was a great public servant. Voters in Jefferson County clearly felt that way in returning her to the Clerk’s office seven times and for more than a quarter century. My staff and I have always been proud to represent Bobbie’s office and the Board of Elections.

The following statement may be attributed to Josh Abner as a spokesman for Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell: “The Jefferson County Attorney’s office is still obtaining information in the case of Mr. Scheffler and will review and proceed accordingly.”

My thoughts are with Tom’s family and the staff of the office of the Commonwealth Attorney as I have lost a friend and my office has lost a partner in the work to make Louisville safer.

There was not a more sincere man or public servant than Tom Wine. He was guided by his spiritual compass and the pursuit of justice during his decades of service as a prosecutor and a judge.

No amount of money will ever bring those we've lost back, but the 10s of millions that will flow into Louisville will allow us to build the treatment system needed to better protect our families and our friends from the terrible grip of substance abuse.

Attorney General Daniel Cameron said his office had 30 days to review the major settlement agreement, but expressed confidence it would be accepted.

The stresses brought by COVID-19 mean there is the greater potential for child abuse and neglect. Please stay alert for children at risk. To report abuse/neglect in KY, please call 1-877-KYSAFE1. We will get through this but it will take all of us looking out for one another.

JUUL delivers levels of nicotine cranked up much higher than a traditional cigarette and they’ve targeted their product to impressionable kids. That's why I, with @louisvillemayor, filed a lawsuit against @JUULvapor for the harm they've caused in our city.

Proud to work w/ @JeffCoAttyKY on a lawsuit against JUUL, whose actions are leading to young people being addicted to nicotine. Vaping nearly doubled among KY teens between 2016-18. These devices have clearly been designed & marketed to appeal to children https://t.co/lOJTQzDmT0
