I think many fans confuse a low risk gameplan with a poor performance. It’s easy to demand a different approach from the couch but these guys have every angle of every play instantly on tablets on the sideline. They see what the defense is doing more than us.

What was the ridiculous decision that Jalen made? They were never even attempting to draw them offsides. Every lineman anticipated the snap. Maybe they ran a different play but they looked like they were all on same page about going for it.

I understand why people wouldn’t agree with what Nico did, but I think the narrative that he’s some bumbling idiot that got punked is crazy. The guy was a vice president at Nike basketball, negotiating deals with every top agent in the game. He is not new to negotiations.

Ok now for the unconscionable 4th down: So the same coach who doesn’t even try on 3rd & long called that play on 4th & 6 w/ 30 seconds left when the other team has no timeouts and only way they can get in FG position in enough time is to start with the ball at the 30. WHAT?!?!
I’m apoplectic about Sirianni tonight. Forget the outrageous 4th down call, we’ll get to that, but what first infuriated me was 3rd and 6 on the plus side of the 2 min, offense isn’t set with 5 sec left and you still have 2 timeouts, TAKE ONE INSTEAD OF RUSHING THE PLAY!!!
