A3: I know that we want to give so that our loved ones feel how important they are. However, its important to remember your peace is worth more than pressure. Focus on what you can give, it does not make sense to go broke, stressed and not be able to enjoy the moment. #CreditChat

A2: With large families, we need to be strategic. My dad is one of 21 kids and my fiancĂŠ's family is also large. So we set a per person cap, do Secret Santas, or gift experiences such as games to play together, and homemade treats. It keeps JOY high, and costs low. #CreditChat
Q2. How do you approach gifting when you have a large family or friend group? Any strategies for making it affordable? #CreditChat

A1: To me, giving means presence over presents. It means spending quality time, giving love, and sharing moments. When I was young, it used to be about the stuff I got, but now itâs about impact and connection. #CreditChat

A6: There are a lot of myths out there, one is that closing old cards helps your score because you won't use them. The truth is, it can hurt by shortening the age of accounts and increase utilization because you have less available credit. Keep them open, use lightly. #CreditChat

A4: This is something people get confused. Your Credit Report is a culmination of all your payment history, the amount and type of debts, and accounts you have. Your Credit Score is a number (300-850) summing it up. The reportâs the story and the scoreâs the summary. #CreditChat

A3: Paying bills on time is key! One late payment can tank your score. You should automate payments to stay on track and build lender trust. If you do find yourself in a hardship, let your issuer know. You may be able to get relief, and its better than not paying #CreditChat
