Millennials we've been had. The Government is considering compensating people because they couldn't retire at 60 by increasing the taxes on people who won't retire til 68.

The Waspi women compensation payout could be upwards of £10.5bn. For context, that's the lifetime taxes of over 8200 households. So if this goes through, over 8200 households will work their whole lives just to pay for this compensation.
BREAKING: The government is re-taking its decision not to award compensation to Waspi women after new evidence emerged During legal proceedings new evidence - a 2007 DWP report into automatic pension forecast letters - has come to light which now needs to be reviewed Pat

Rewarding financial irresponsibility. Why bother doing the right thing, saving, investing, putting into your pension, working a full time job, going uni etc etc… This Government is absolutely rotten. Counting down the days the electorate give their comeuppance

Polanski welcome to the Rupert Lowe penitentiary
@ZackPolanski If being ‘racist’ means not wanting thousands of unvetted Sudanese and Iraqi men inserted into our communities, then sign me up. Nobody gives a shit about these meaningless words anymore. I want the illegals gone. And the British people agree with me.

The James Gin Christmas ad has ‘landed’. Yes, it’s ‘AI slop’, and yes, we’re taking the piss. It’s about the message etc.

I’m very sad to hear the news that one of the all-time great automotive journalists & broadcasters, Quentin Willson, has died, aged 68. He was clever, engaging & friendly, & we’ll not see his like again. Here he is on #TopGear in ’98. #RIPQuentinWillson

No special deals. No easy passes. Make them earn it back. Those who think they deserve a “special pass” are part of the problem and not the solution.

“There's two leaflets from two Reform campaigns in local elections…they say the phrase, cut your taxes.” “We never said that at the party leadership level.” Richard Tice insists it’s “untrue” that Reform promised tax cuts. @StigAbell | @TiceRichard

I think I’ve read about this before. Think it’s called Stockholm syndrome??
Reform tried to replace me on @bbcquestiontime a few months ago after I'd said their economic numbers didn't YET add up! I'm incredibly encouraged therefore by today's speech from @Nigel_Farage. The public finances are in such a bad and deteriorating state that big tax cuts are
