Given the French fictionary prize just granted to Hamas, maybe the Hamas thugs weren’t wrong in their assessment. What a deplorable and arrogant move by Macron.
Hamas thugs think they have international support, and therefore hardened their demands against Israel. Hamas doesn’t care about suffering civilians or about ending the war. But Hamas has a whole arsenal of useful idiots working for them.

I stand corrected.
Hamas cares about suffering civilians. From Hamas' perspective, the more suffering civilians the merrier because they know it is Israel -- not Hamas -- who will be blamed by the legions of Israel-haters/Jew-haters who occupy the UN, faux human right organizations and so much of.

Yes. And for the Iranian strategy to work they need a good global distraction. Hamas continues to refuse the cease fire, much to the frustration of the US, Egypt and reportedly even Qatar. Hamas and the Iranians know that it’s either cease fire or a massive Israeli operation.
The regime in Iran is playing its usual bullshit games. President Trump must not fall for it. Set a deadline of 30 days. If no full dismantlement and zero enrichment deal, immediate snapback. If Iran leaves the NPT, trigger for immediate US and Israeli military strikes.

The UN-based system of aid distribution has been failing the people of Gaza for years. First they enabled Hamas to build hundreds of miles of tunnels using aid, then they facilitated Hamas’ control over Gaza, and now they are providing a losing terror org with life support. And.
Blockade?!.Almost 1000 (!) trucks worth of aid are waiting 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗮. Israel isn’t blocking aid. The agencies are distributing lies instead of aid.

The UN-based goods system in Gaza is compromised and serves Hamas. It too needs to be replaced or at least revamped for there to be a better future in Gaza. I only wish Israel will have the strategic wisedom and diplomatic clout to make that happen.

Hamas relies on UN and other so called "humanitarian" organizations to remain in power, and these are an abysmal moral failure. Without the likes of @UNRWA, Hamas would be out of business and with no ability to oppress civilians or wage war against Israel.

I’m not sure that the move on Deir Al Balah will be enough to push Hamas to agree to a deal. But Israel has agreed to additional Hamas conditions regarding @IDF deployment after cease fire for the first time.
Israel likely decided to begin conducting military operation in Deir al-Balah to pressure Hamas to accept a proposed deal that would see 10 living hostages set free, according to @jconricus.
