Is 10-2 Notre Dame’s resume infinitely better than 11-2 BYU, 11-2 Texas Tech, 10-2 Vanderbilt, or 10-2 Miami, who beat Notre Dame? I don’t get the Fighting Irish love. Could they get in the playoff? Sure. Are they a lock at 10-2? I just don’t see it when you compare resumes.

It’s ridiculous this is even a thing. If the committee needs to see touchdowns when games are already over then why the hell is there even a committee. This is what happens when it becomes a beauty pageant.
OK, this touchdown, unfortunately necessary because the CFP committee would’ve crushed Miami for only beating VT by 10 or 13, makes it a more-appealing 17-point road win.
