Serious question: Anyone could have invested in Berkshire. Why didn’t more people do so? I don’t buy that it’s an extreme example of survivorship bias.

That’s also trickier to do. More subtle/nuanced than something like fraud or bankruptcy. Less clear cut but also more applicable. We’ll see how it all plays out, but anyone willing to share their personal experiences —either on the record or off—seems like best way to explore.

This is where I want this podcast to go. Frauds/bankruptcies etc are fun. But they’re the opposite extreme of what everyone focuses on when looking at success—the 100 baggers, Michael Jordan etc. I want people to hear about the stories that most investors actually experience.
