@the_better_pool this only strengthens my point of the importance of responsible spending. if we didn't bloat such an excessive budget full of waste and only stuck to crucial core funding for the first year, a valuable proposal like this could have been funded instead. the continuous "oh come on

I really like @Cardano’s “liquid delegation” model in their governance voting process. Applies even after the reps cast their vote.
@herogamer21btc Yep. I voted yesterday with 8 M Ada power. The first tally will be at the end of the first epoch (in 4 days or so). If Ada holders redelegate away from me and I am left with 0 Ada voting power, my vote will be worth 0 Ada when the first count is made.

Yes, it's a 'trust me' proposal. If you don't trust them - acting collectively for the first time after the soft fork - vote no. Doesn't mean they will resubmit the proposal again, if they get a No. Lack of detail = they are putting their joint reputations on the line together

A bitcoin mine in Mongolia during the freezing winter kept overheating and shutting down until engineers installed cameras and found the reason was stray cats sleeping on the warm machines, blocking ventilation and forcing the mining rigs into automatic shutdown.
