The issue is yall think “internalized misogyny” means individualized “self hate” when the term in its original context is meant to illustrate that that the person has been successfully socialized into macro hatred and repression of the oppressed group.
i think "internalized misogyny" doesn't quite works for certain type of hatred some women have for other. sure for the selfsabotaging "pick me" type, but the hatred some women have for those who "fail" at "womanhood" is a little heavier than anything internalized... idk

valid points made between this tweet and the OP but why are people acting like kindergarten teacher is a job anyone can apply for and not something specialized that you need a degree and certification in?
And people underestimate how easy it is to get stuck at a job you just wanted to do to get by. Six months as a kindergarten teacher will easily become six years
