Yaay! First ever cover! 🥳 super happy for this excellent work lead by @Massimo_De_Agro to be out! Having 8 eyes is crazy- thanks to Massimo we’re getting a bit closer to understanding how it all might work for jumping spiders. https://t.co/WQ1U6OX3EG

I will never forget who supported me when this man (who yields way too much power in CAN science) harassed me, incl from the society accounts he had access to. I'll also always remember who made sure to tell me they had a good relationship with him & didn't want to help me.
Many of the men perpetuating these behaviours also publicly purport to be champions of EDI - at a recent conference one such man was sporting a t-shirt that said 'feminist' across the front and my stomach reeled.

For the last 12 years I have studied spiders. They have pretty much been a major part of my otherwise hectic life. I generally write about my observations but over the last couple of months I have tried poetry and this is one of them. Please enjoy. #TurnFear2Fascination

This Polyrhachis didn't have a chance against the pseudoscorpions. Even the young ones were clasping tightly onto the ant's jaws.
