YouTube is set to introduce new rules and labels that will require creators to disclose whether or not they used artificial intelligence to create content in their videos.

Don’t see the problem, if something is interesting I’ll watch it, don’t care how much AI was involved, everyone is going to be using it in some capacity by mid 2024 if not sooner, naturally if it’s spewing lies or inciting I’m avoiding

AI trash content has been on YouTube for years, all of which they monetized heavily, and made BILLIONS from it. In typical Google fashion, now it's a problem... they have no standards.

I kid, I kid. It's fine. Interesting where to draw the line - how about if the video has like... AI-cleanup for backgrounds. AI face beautification etc.

if i use AI to generate a script for me, youtube will have no idea i used it unless theyre spying on my search history and my personal computer, so this doesn't worry me at all
