โจGotcha!โจ In the early hours of Thursday morning, PSD Bruno put his nose to work and assisted @SaanichPolice Patrol by tracking and locating a suspect who had used a stolen forklift to commit a break and enter to a business.

โ๏ธ๐พ Quick summer update ๐พโ๏ธ 1/2 Last Friday, PSD Havoc assisted @vicpdcanada Patrol members with locating a break and enter suspect inside a construction site. The suspect wisely gave up as PSD Havoc entered the room he was hiding in.

Yesterday our unit helped @saanichpolice send off (Retired) Inspector Morgan, who was our unitโs OIC since its inception in 2021. Steve was a dog handler earlier in his career and was instrumental in allowing our integrated unit to grow and succeed in its first few years.

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of another one of our furry partners - Police Service Dog Zender. Zender retired from service earlier this month due to a brain tumour & attempts to extend his life were unfortunately unsuccessful. 1/3 Video reposted from @ICS_K9

Deeply saddened to inform you that Police Service Dog โHitchโ suddenly passed away. Hitch served alongside his partner and best friend Cst. Ken Mead @SaanichPolice @ICS_K9 since 2016. Hitch and Ken responded to the BMO incident in 2022 - saving lives and keeping people safe๐#yyj
