I think the difference has be Moyes. We haven’t spent Fuck all. We’ve spent a bit, but the players are Moyes’ picks now. Not the owners playing football manager and helping out their agent mates.
Moyes has also changed the way we play; fitter, better organised defence etc

To be fair, shitty tho the owners have sometimes been they’ve not murdered anyone, oppressed women, flogged gay men or tried to create or join a European Super League. So they’d be mid-table PL owners at worst. Their money is their own and they’ve hired a pro manager.

I think 268m in three years is quite an amount to spend with a lot of deadwood released to finally come good.
Villa released their deadwood last year, so our squad is finding it's Premier Quality legs which should get stronger as we progress through the season.

To be fair I think we were the fifth highest spenders in the Premier League this year only behind arsenal Man City Man United and Liverpool. Definitely feel like we have recruited well though
