To the young . Read the history of modern India carefully. Don’t believe anybody and do your own research . You’ll see where everybody stood during the crucial periods . Analyse and come to your own conclusions . Only then will u b able to frame the right questions.

If one does an objective and critical analysis of India's modern history it's obvious...everyone stood for there own cause ..no different from what's happening now.protest without basic understanding of what they are protesting against.

have tried to understand Assam insurgency and bangladesh infiltration and I can say this clearly that 2-3 decades of politics let Assam and Bengal burn for their own benefits.
Current govt is not good either bcoz they behave acc to religion of infiltrators.

Also, read history of a few other places too. Begin to understand what the world looked like theough the ages and give a perspective to what was happening in the Indian subcontinent

Yes. Read the history (Modern or Anciant) carefully. Ramayan and Mahabharat is based on true incidents happened on this pious land. Read about the journey of Rishi's, Yogi's and people who made Bharat proud. Read, Read and Read. Enlightenment will come to you automatically.

Such good advice but history too is always from someones perspective.Being widely and well read on the past will always help with forming your values and opinions but life experience inevitably colours everything.

To everybody: pay attention to how Democracy sells history out to promote rabid individualism. Don’t believe anybody who claims voting has any hope of making the 1% accountable. Only then will you be able to serve society.
