The @Irishheart_ie found half of Heart Failure patients fail to get Cardiac Rehabilitation. Appropriate staffing is essential to ensure equitable & comprehensive care for all cardiac patients, including those with heart failure, to improve patient outcomes.
❌Hospital-based CR: depletion of CR staff since 2009.‼️Recommendation: prioritise allocation of CR posts, particularly dietetic & psychology services 🍎🧠.❌No dedicated dietetic services for CR / no capacity for in-depth dietetics input in most hospital-based CR services🏥
