When you skip, we coaches notice & we know why. ALL your coaches talk to each other, especially within the school ecosystem.
Skipping = deceit, selfishness, undedicated.
Finish what you start or don't start at all. There are some who would die for your chances.

We get it: track may not be your child’s first sport
However… if they wouldn’t skip practices or games during their “main sport”
Don’t be allowing them to skip practices or games during track (unless emergency of course)

Relays were a mixed bag. 4x2 sucked and we all know it. Sometimes that happens and it's unfortunate that it happened at State. 4x1 ran their race with good exchanges and placed 7th with a time of 43.17 - can't ask for much more than that.
