You know, I saw this tweet and didn’t feel anger, I felt sadness. Many Nigerian women don’t even know what being violated looks like, because they’ve been socialised to see it as the norm. So heartbreaking.
One woman somewhere now will still seeing her husband as a r@pist. Abeg, it's not that deep. As long as there was no violence involved in the process, don't make a big deal out of it. Marriage is not the same as ordinary dating. There are nuances to be considered.
